Its been kinda awkward though. Because thecnically it has been going on since 2001. But things have drastically changed between the situation that started it in 2001 and what happened in 2014 when ISIS first became popular. So lets say... all the time before then was just the pre show of another world wide scale. The event of this war if you havent figured it out yet came from the attacks on the world trade center in NYC. Ever since then, we have been at war with the middle east. Now, Paris got hit hard with terrorist attacks by ISIS and in response, Paris send air strikes across the capital of the terrorist nation and did equally worse damage amongst them. So... they started a war against them. currently, Australia, Bahrain, Canada, France, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and United Arab Emirates are doing the same thing as France is doing with air strikes and small attacks against this terrorist nation. To me, any physical contact (from air or ground, direct or indirect) of big explody thingies between two nations is considered a war. and since 2014, there have been A LOT of people attacking and chosing sides... So i would consider it World War 3 even though it's not "official" official. Am i going to do anything about it? well if the prime minister of france or even Obama read this, maybe it would do something. but other than that, nah... I'm 16 and still dealing with school.
