Post Stress Potatoe Dissa-war That is Really Not Needed

       So what the heck is going on? Veterans day is going on. And one major quality of us citizens tends to be pride. LOTS AND LOTS OF PRIDE. And loud obsession over Bill Nye the Science Guy.
But we also have a pretty interesting obsession over our military. And yes although they are great people who help fight terrible wars, we should realize that our military is overpowered. even our communities are overpowered! With an average gun ownership being 101 guns per 100 people, we have more guns and ways to protect ourselves than we do people to live in such a big and beautiful nation. Our army makes it worse. Statistics show it pretty easily.

You do have to admit. america loves war

So people who served in WWII or Vietnam/Korean cold wars, yay for you, thank you for defending us and our rights, but the big question to come is why do we still have war in america? if our army is this big and strong compared to the rest of the world, why haven't we won the war against terror? or Afghanistan? or Syria? or even used our troops to save the refugees in these nations to let them have a chance at life just as we did when we first came to america? why are we not the best in the world? Because we are not in a war.  

        Were over killing things a bit with our army now. Back then, it was needed as our wars were one on one or 7 nations on 4 nations . Now? not as much as you think. right now, war has been the least popular thing going on. and for a good reason too. All one on one battles are over. Nearly all of our battles are internal civil conflicts between two sides of the same nation. They are all civil war. And they ain't going to last long. War is coming to an end as we strive for peace.

We aren't needed in these wars. but we feel as the "greatest nation in the world" that we need to stick our nose in everything and solve conflicts only in the american way although not always the right way. Dang it 'Murica. We should let other nations have a chance or a say in things without having us literally control them to go by our ideas thinking that we are the best. SERIOUSLY AMERICA. STOP BEING SNOTTY AND STUBBORN. We aren't the best. We were the greatest in the world... buttttttttttt...

 If we are going to call ourselves the best, then maybe do something different for a change. Go invest in public transportation instead of sprawling and making us all buy cars and ruin our environment. Go live a normal life where you use our taxes to help our suffering nation instead of using it to protect us on things that aren't going to happen. We can cut 80% of our military spending and still be the biggest army in the world. Even 50% would be fine with me! But now should be the time where you look at our education or lifestyle and make a change to it. Stop loving war! i know it won't happen instantly, but we really need to come with something better. But i'm 16 and really can't do anything about it except for share my opinion and complain. also my third hour is over. also, getting rid of habits take time so i'm not expecting it within a week or two. take your time. but America, i ask of you (and myself personally. i know i have been switching between first, second, and third person point of view. i don't care) at least be willing to change. PLZ?
